How Montessori Connections is Different
We believe that each child is unique and special and should be allowed to evolve and grow at his/ her own pace.
The Montessori classroom at Montessori Connections is a unique prepared environment, which is carefully designed to allow children to “learn by doing:” Each classroom is filled with imaginative and self-correcting educational materials, which are planned to encourage creative activity, develop the senses and intellectual activity and increase motor coordination.
The experience-rich environment encompasses the following areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Science, Math, Language, Cultural subjects, Art and Music. Outdoor experiences on our beautiful play yard include group games, physical exercise and free play.
The Montessori child builds confidence and competence as he/ she engages in activities appropriate to his/ her development. Cooperation and a sense of community are fostered through independence and group experiences. The child develops mutual respect and responsibility for herself/himself, others and the environment.
Our experienced and dedicated staff provides the stability and guidance needed to make it possible for each child to progress to his/her fullest social, creative and intellectual potential. In our child-centered environment the directress’ role is to foster, nurture, guide, observe and direct the children’s decision-making ability. This is done through one-to-lessons, small group explorations and large group activities.
Our goals at Montessori Connections:
Independence with responsibility – Children thrive with pride in their competence as they learn to work independently and responsibly put their work back when finished and care for their school environment
Concentration –The child’s attention span develops as they learn to focus, fostering good study habits.
Coordination – Attractive, fun exercises that strengthen your child’s hand for writing and train the eye for reading are provided.
Order – Our environment is based on order. Order leads to logical thinking for future math concepts, problem-solving, and decision making.
Socialization – We provide a natural environment encouraging children to meet, interact, and make friends, with guidance when needed.
Academic Growth – Your child is offered opportunities to learn to read, write, and form math concepts.
Emotional maturation – Our goal is that your child will develop a positive self-concept, competence with social and language skills and love of learning.
Self-Control – Children work on developing their inner discipline and how to become responsible for their own actions.

Our Philosophy
Our philosophy of education focuses on the development of the whole child, to help each child to reach his/ her full potential in all areas of life, so children become positive, confident and responsible individuals, lifelong learners and problem solvers.
“Imagine a place where your child is always greeted warmly and made to feel welcome with a parent-communication experience that keeps you informed and confident that your child has fallen in love with learning.”

Hear it from our parents!
“Montessori connections is a fabulous place for your child. Our daughter, having started last year when she was 2 and half years , has been thriving. What are the highlights? Incredible ratio of teachers to children. They vary from age to age, but regardless of the age, the ratio is always better than other nearby sites. The site is clean, organized and all my teachers ,Staff feel very supported by the administrators. The teachers all love their jobs so they are some of the happiest caregivers I met. There is a lot of support so that the teachers can apply learning in a fun, playful way. They serve healthy snacks, but will work with you if you want to bring your child your own food. They send home the cute little crafts and activities; it’s sweet. In short, they’re awesome.”

“My younger daughter, Zahra went to Montessori Connections this fall (2018). This was her first time in a school setting and it went very well. The staff and teachers are courteous, the premises are safe and kid friendly and they are very flexible with parents’ requests for scheduling changes. Would recommend the school for toddlers in South Brunswick area.”
